Tauranga Girl Geek Dinners

Tauranga Girl Geek Dinners is an offshoot of the Auckland Girl Geek Dinners, which is in turn an offshoot of the London Girl Geek Dinners started by Sarah Blow 3 years ago.

The aim of these get-togethers is to provide a welcoming atmosphere and a platform for learning in an informal environment, to make technology accessible and to be of interest to all age groups and all people, particularly women. It is an opportunity for like-minded 'girls' to talk about technology over food and drinks.

Girl Geek Dinners are organised all over the world and are great fun. The events are held in a variety of venues and there is usually a speaker (or two!) who talks for a short while on a chosen subject for the evening.
